I recently had the great honor of photographing Andrew and Maggie’s micro-ceremony at the DC War Memorial. I must extend a special thank you to Carly and Joe for referring this sweet couple to me!
We began the afternoon with a short but heartfelt ceremony at the DC War Memorial. After soaking it all in together, time spent greeting their guests, and some family and friends portraits, the couple, two of their friends and I walked over to the WWII memorial for a few portraits, over by the reflecting pool, and ended over at the FDR memorial. Maggie and Andrew were lovely to photograph together and are simply too cute for words. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to capture this special occasion for them.
This afternoon with them was awe-inspiring and a reminder of the exact reason I wanted to start photographing love stories in the first place.
