The Process

We’ll schedule a complimentary phone or virtual consultation during this time. I value the time we get to chat together, hear your story, and familiarize myself with your vision. Based on your wedding day photography needs and timeline, we can come up with the coverage that best fits you.

Most collections include 8 hours of wedding day coverage, a second shooter, a complimentary engagement session, an online gallery with full-resolution images, and printing rights.

Step 2: connect.

The Process

Ready to move forward? It’s time to choose your custom collection. Once you do, I’ll send over your contract to sign and invoice to pay the retainer and reserve your date. You’ll also receive access to a guide to walk through all the details!

From there, I either work with you or your planner to create a photography timeline that allows you to make the most of your day.

Step 3: book.

The entire process was incredibly personal.

I do recognize and appreciate that some guidance is necessary to facilitate space for letting your walls down in front of the camera. Rather than stiff and forced posing, I’ll talk you through our time together, sharing prompts along the way that invite you to get comfortable and allow for natural moments to happen.

I don’t put a cap on the amount of photos you receive. I’ll go through and sort out all of the blinking/unflattering photos, and you receive the rest edited. Typically it’s anywhere from 800-1k photos for an average 8-hour wedding day.

You’ll receive a digital gallery set up to make it easy to order prints and other keepsakes – if you’d like. All images are available to download, and you’ll receive a printing release to print any images yourself.

For weddings, you’ll receive your gallery 5-6 weeks following your big day. But you know I’m always anxious to get you a few sneak peeks sooner – generally within 48 hours after our time together.

For many reasons, a second photographer is included in all full coverage wedding collections. As a team, we’ll take images of your day at the same time and provide you with a variety of shots and angles you wouldn’t otherwise receive.

I am based out of Fredericksburg, Virginia and currently travel from Charlottesville through Richmond to Virginia Beach for weddings and events. I also offer wedding photography in Central Florida as well.
