I really enjoy how engagement sessions give me the opportunity to get to know my couples before their wedding day. Teresa and John are such an easygoing couple and they are my very first wedding of 2018. I loved venturing around their family farm here in Fredericksburg during their engagement session and enjoyed my time photographing them together. I love that we got the chance to photograph at a meaningful location to John’s childhood, like the tree he used to climb (and also got stuck in) when he was young! Locations that are meaningful to the couples I am photographing are always an awesome choice.
These two have been in a long-distance relationship for a good while now since John has been stationed down at Fort Bragg Army base in NC. They are so ready to become husband and wife! I love how safe they are in each others arms. I love they way they hold each other and yet can bust out laughing in the very same moment. They are so sweet together and so right in every way.
