It’s been way too long since I posted here! To be perfectly transparent, I wasn’t sure if blogs are even a thing these days since most people just move straight to social media to check out recent work; blogs are certainly not the way they used to be. I still remember the days of posting a blog sneak peek (not on social media) after a wedding day, and that’s the way couples saw their preview images! It’s so drastically changed in the last few years. With the huge decrease in business blogging, I’ve put posting recent work on the blog (and let’s be real, also social media) on the back burner, but I do hope to try to keep up at least with portrait work on here.
Running a small business alone means you have to wear a lot of hats, and with limited time to be able to do it all, marketing the business is where I continuously fall short.
Most of my work all comes from word of mouth more than anything, so I want to take time to acknowledge how appreciative I am for all of you. Thank you to each and every one of my clients for supporting my small business over the years. I truly appreciate every single one of you and am really touched to be able to share these fleeting moments with you. I have the best job!
This family did find me online, so what better way to kick off posting on the blog again than with the V family? I had the chance to work with this sweet family for their maternity photos as well as their at-home lifestyle newborn photos in Sterling. It was so fun to see this transition in their lives in anticipating and then becoming first-time parents.
