I loved Sara from the second I first met her. This girl is so incredibly sweet and awesome that it was impossible for me to NOT hope she’d become my bride. I was so excited to meet the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with because I knew if he was with Sara, he was going to be such a great guy. And right I was. When we spent time together at their engagement session at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, I also got to really see how amazing they are not just as individuals, but as a couple as well. The rain cleared up just in time for their session to begin, and the skies were so blue and overcast with a view so amazing that it was a photographer’s dream. You could hear kids playing in the distance and the soft crunching of leaves and twigs as we walked around the grounds, as all of the leaves had pretty much fallen down that week.
This time together means so much to me because I get a chance to know my couples better while also photographing and preserving this amazing time in their lives for them. I don’t know how I’m going to have to wait a whole year to get them in front of my camera again… I’m so excited for their big day! Hope you enjoy some of my favorites!
And I had to end with this, Sara’s awesome MoH made these sweaters for them — Jordan’s says “Real Men Marry Teachers” and Sara’s reads “Feyoncé”. How cute is that?!
