Aleks & Dmitriy’s Gravelly Point & Kennedy Center Engagement

We met Aleks and Dmitriy at Gravelly Point Park, a park outside of DC right next to the airport. When Aleks and Dmitriy were first dating, Aleks went to Spain for a couple of weeks and Dmitriy was eagerly waiting her return at the airport. That trip made them both truly realize they did not want to be apart from each other, so it felt very fitting to have their session at Gravelly Point. The day of their engagement session was quite windy, but I loved it because it added a bit to the romance of the session — especially when we were up on the balcony of the Kennedy Center at the end of the evening. I just love their connection, the little looks they exchange, and the way they have fun and laugh together.

One of things I love to watch with my couples is how they come together. Every couple has a story, and these two were brought together by ballet. Aleks and Dmitriy, thank you for letting me tag along and tell your story. I can hardly wait for your wedding next year!
