Melissa and Navin wanted to include their American Bulldog girl Kona in their engagement photos (which is totally confirmation that they are my kind of couple and Kona so would have been riding home with me if I had my way!). They wanted Kona to be in their Save the Date photo since she won’t be able to be there with them on the wedding day, so Melissa’s awesome sister Denise tagged along for their session (Side note: I actually have a blog post coming out very soon about including dogs in your wedding/engagement festivities and this is one of my suggestions, so stay tuned for that post in the near future!). These two are getting married in the Spring at one of my favorite venues, Riverside on the Potomac, and I’m so excited to witness them tie the knot. Melissa and Navin met while in college, were friends for two years before they started dating, and have been together for over 6 1/2 years! They are such a great couple, so comfortable together, and are both so hard-working – Melissa is a NICU nurse and Navin works in Government Consulting in Arlington. It was so great getting the chance to spend time with them during their session and I hope you enjoy this post with a few highlights from Saturday!
