I am so excited to share this wedding with you all today! It was such a privilege to be part of Charles and Laura’s wedding at The Westin Georgetown. These two share a love for each other that makes it impossible for anyone around them to not smile. I first arrived in the light-filled bridal suite to capture Laura’s details and walked in on a calm and highly prepared bride, which was no surprise to me at all. She had her details all gathered together on a side table and had was even equipped with little mini fans for herself and her soon-to-be-husband to use during their portraits (knowing that they would be outdoors in June and didn’t want to overheat). Laura wore a stunning Wtoo gown and looked simply gorgeous. When I first saw Charles that day, he was smiling from ear to ear and he was so ready for Laura to finally become his wife. During their ceremony, Laura’s sweet mom walked her into the courtyard and down the aisle to her future husband and there were tears all around. Charles was absolutely beaming when he saw his bride and you could see on both of their faces through the entire ceremony how thrilled they both were that their day finally arrived. The staff at The Westin Georgetown were incredibly accommodating and welcoming as this was my first time photographing a wedding there. Laura and Charles, thank you so much for including me in your beautiful day – it was so incredible to witness you two become husband and wife and I hope you enjoy this glimpse into your day!
