Kelly + Emil’s Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Wedding

Kelly is a girl after my own heart. Not only is she also a graphic design major… she had her girls wear classy and timeless black dresses (as my bridesmaids also did at our own wedding), and wore the most STUNNING blush dress that I’ve ever seen along with a showstopper mantilla veil. Mantilla veils = MY OBSESSION. Kelly is a talented artist and made so many personal touches and her vision and hard work showed through in every detail. But their wedding was not just beautiful — it was also emotional, sweet, and a lot of fun. Kelly and Emil have so much fun together and are SO clearly loved. They had family and friends literally come from all over the globe to be there for their day, some of which was their very first time in this country. Best wishes to you both in the rest of your lives together as husband and wife. 🙂

Love that image above on the right because it shows the tattoo that Kelly got in memory of her father during a really sweet moment between Kelly and Emil. This next image shows Kelly holding her dad’s ring that she wore all day long.

I told the guys they needed to turn on the GQ for me and they definitely pulled it off quite well, wouldn’t you agree??

MARRIED!

This next series cracks me up. One of Kelly’s bridesmaids literally had to be forced to stand to catch the bouquet and was the one girl in the group who did her best NOT to catch it… by ducking as soon as she threw it. Well, it landed right next to her and she was the one who ended up with it. Hahaha!

As you can see, he literally dove right in to get the job done.

The guys had a different approach for the garter than the girls did for the bouquet. There was definite scrambling, sliding, and drink spilling on laps involved in order to retrieve it.
