I don’t always have the chance to blog every session, but I just love being able to capture families at home together. There’s something so special about the candid photo playing on the living room floor, riding bikes up your own driveway, snuggling on the couch and jumping on the bed together. In-home lifestyle family sessions are less posed and less forced. I cannot even begin to tell you how much excitement I get when a family suggests to do their family photos in the comfort of their own home, where there is so much story to tell and so much rawness! These images will provide these boys a look into their childhood, their home, and the environment which shaped their everyday lives. It is such an honor to be welcomed into your home to capture a little piece of those real-every-day-moments. This session took place at this adorable family’s home here in Fredericksburg and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you all. I hope you enjoy this peek into their session!
