It’s been a couple of years, but you may recognize this couple from their Mount Vernon Inn wedding back in 2016! When Kristin contacted me letting me know that they were hoping to have a few portraits taken with their new Sheepadoodle puppy Scout, I’m sure you guys aren’t surprised to hear that I was super eager to meet Scout and to see her parents again! Kristin and Josh drove down to Fredericksburg and met up with me at a local family-owned farm called Snead’s Farm. We went during Snead’s fall festival and this location was the perfect seasonal backdrop for their session. Scout will likely be around 60-80 lbs when she’s full grown so they wanted to be able to have some portraits taken while she was still just a bitty puppy, although she has already grown quite a bit since they’ve had her. Scout is incredibly precious and was such a perfect little angel during her shoot. She absolutely adores children and meeting new people/instantly becoming their BFF, and she had so many sights and scents to entertain her over at Snead’s. It was so fun getting the chance to spend a little bit of time with this sweet couple and their darling girl. I hope you enjoy a few of my faves from their session! Everyone, meet Scout. <3
